Departure Facilities at Terminal 4 Heathrow Airport
Terminal 4 is located away from the other three terminals. It is on the southern side of the airport and can be reached from junction 14 of the M25 motorway. Take the A30 towards Heathrow Airport and follow the signs.
Short Term Car Park 4 is directly in front of the terminal 4 building and is perhaps the most convenient of all the Short Stay car parks. Signs to the car park are easy to follow.
There are toilets on Level 4 (Departures level) of the car park.
The Departures level is all on one floor with good wheelchair access throughout. Toilet facilities for disabled users are available towards the right of the floor near the First Class check-in area. Access to the Arrivals and mezzanine catering levels is by lift/elevator.
Heathrow Terminal 4 Check In
The upper level check-in area is huge with 98 desks arranged in a long line. So it can take a while to find the right one. To make life easier check the overhead TV monitors at the entry doors which identify the airlines and their check-in desks. Low numbered check-ins start from the left.
First Class check-in at Desks 89-98. For unaccompanied children and passengers with special needs use Desk 97.
