International arriving passengers and baggage reclaim are on the ground floor of Terminal 1. Arrivals in Terminal 2 are located on the ground floor. Arrivals in Terminal 3 are located on the left at the north end of the building on the ground floor. Arrivals is located on the ground floor of Terminal 4.

Domestic, Republic of Ireland and Channel Island arriving passengers and baggage reclaim are located on the first floor of Terminal 1.

Arriving at Heathrow from an EC country: If you started your journey in one of the other 14 EC countries you should use the blue exit from the baggage hall. You are not required to pass through a customs channel and your hold baggage will have a green edged tag.

Arriving at Heathrow from outside the EC: If you started your journey outside the EC you must go through the red/green customs channels as normal. Your hold luggage will have the usual white tag.

Arriving at Heathrow via an EC country: If you started your journey outside the EC you must go through the red/green customs channels as normal. Your hold luggage will have the usual white tag.

Making flight connections at Heathrow: If you are transferring through Heathrow to an international or domestic* connecting flight, you can have baggage tagged through to the final destination. Items in hand baggage that are liable for duty need to be declared at customs red points in the Flight Connections Centre and other transfer lounges.

* Passengers transferring from an international destination via any other UK airport to Heathrow or Gatwick eg. Delhi - Manchester – Heathrow or New York – Manchester – Gatwick, must collect their hold luggage at the first UK airport (ie. Manchester), take it through the customs red/green channels and check-in as normal for the domestic flight to Heathrow/Gatwick.
