When arriving at Heathrow you have 4 different terminals to choose from and it is best to know which terminal you will be travelling to/from before arriving at Heathrow. You have three options when arriving by car, taking passengers directly to the drop off and pick up point, (where terminals have one), parking your vehicle in the short term car park or taking your car to the long term car park facilities.
Long Term Car Parks at Heathrow
The Long Term car parks are some distance from the terminal. You will need to allow allow around 30 minutes for transfer. The Long Stay car parks are on the Eastern Perimeter road and serve all four terminals. There is a free bus service to all terminals which operates between 05:30 and 23:30. Tranfers outside of these hours is by telephone request.
Business Parking: Heathrow also has some car parks more suited to the business traveller. They are situated a little nearer to the main terminals 1, 2 & 3. The car parks are situated on the Northern Perimeter Road. Follow the signs for Business Parking as you approach the airport. For Terminal 1 Park 1 offers the quickest direct transfer service to T1 (please note it doesn't serve the other terminals). Buses run every five minutes. For Terminals 1, 2 & 3 Pink Elephant provides free regular transfer buses to all three terminals. They also offer a request service to Terminal 4. Transfer time to Terminals 1, 2 & 3 is approximately 10-15 minutes but can take longer at busy times. Terminal 4 has its own Business car park - Park and Fly on the Southern Perimeter Road. Follow the Business Parking signs as you approach Terminal 4.
