Heathrow Travel by Taxi

London licensed taxis (Black Cabs) are available from outside each terminal for travel within the London area. To ensure there are adequate taxis to meet demand, a computer system is used to control the flow of vehicles to the forecourts but there is generally never a shortage of taxis at Heathrow.

The approximate cost from Heathrow to central London is £45.00-£50.00, with an average journey time of one hour. Journeys inside London are priced using the taxi meter. Journeys to the Borough of Spelthorne are charged at a maximum of £25.00. The fare for all other journeys outside of London should be agreed between the driver and the passenger prior to the journey commencing. Approximate fares are indicated at the taxi stands on the forecourts.

In central London taxis can be hailed on the street or booked through your hotel.
