How to get to Heathrow by Car

Heathrow is situated close to two motorways - the M4 and the M25.

Heathrow Parking

From the M40 join the M25 at junction 16. From the M25, leave motorway at junction 15 to join the M4 and leave the M4 at junction sign posted London Heathrow Airport, Terminals 1,2 & 3.

Drop off & pick up

If you intending to drop off or collect passengers you will need to go to the signposted area Set Down & Pick Up point. For security reasons private cars may not stop on the terminal forecourt roads for any purpose other than to drop off or pick up passengers.

Picking up passengers

Waiting is not permitted on the airport forecourts at any time. If you are meeting someone from a flight you should use the short stay car parks.

Unattended vehicles

 

For security reasons vehicles should not be left unattended at any time. Any vehicle left unattended outside a terminal will be swiftly removed by the police. A charge of £105.00 is made for its recovery and a £40.00 parking ticket will also be given. If the vehicle is not collected on the day it is removed there will be a further charge of £12.00 for each day's storage.

Petrol Stations

There are three petrol stations close to Heathrow Airport which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

1. A BP station is located in the centre of the airport close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

2. An Esso station is located on the Southern Perimeter Road between Terminal 4 and the M25. It also has an automatic car wash.

3. A BP station is located at Hatton Cross, Great West Road (A30). This station has LPG facilities.
