Heathrow Airport Taxi and Minicab Transfer Services
Heathrow airport handles more than 65 million passengers every year and operates from 4 terminals, with terminal 2 back in operation in 2014. Heathrow is situated to the west of London, 17 miles from Oxford Street in London's West End. Heathrow is the busiest UK airport and so getting to and from the airport should be a major consideration once you have booked your flights.
You can of course drive yourself to the airport, but you will then need to book airport parking, or hire a car but both of these options incur a further cost. So one solution is to let someone else take the strain and drive you to the airport, then you won't need to worry about finding a parking space or the hassle of picking up and then dropping off a hire car.
Heathrow Taxi Services
There are numerous transfer services available to get you to and from Heathrow, whether you need to travel in a saloon, limousine or minibus. You can then decide whether to book with a local company based close to the airport or a transfer service close to where you live.
With private hire companies you will need to pre book your journey as this is a stipulation of their hire and reward licence, but should you choose to take a black cab these can be hailed if in London or from the official taxi ranks at each of the Heathrow terminals.
